I finally got the real story. This course hasn\'t been remodeled, yet. That starts in March and will take two years!

Very challenging course. Has been for me, at least. As many doglegs as straight holes, as I recall. Haven't played there since it has been remodeled. Anxious to see what changes were made. Run by same company as Palm Springs Country Club, which is in a wind slot and gets blown pretty good at times, but Canyon South is nestled closer behind Mt. San Jacinto and wind has never been a problem when I played.
