Los Cabos
Los Cabos is on the southernmost tip of the 1,000-mile long Baja Peninsula, west of mainland Mexico, and just below Southern California. The Sea of Cortés borders Los Cabos on the east; the Pacific Ocean is to the west. This is a popular world-glass golf destination, where courses seemed to have sprouted out of the desert, all with views of the sea, many built alongside its shores. Los Cabos is divided into three distinct areas. San Jose Del Cabo, is the "capital" of Los Cabos, a colonial town with a relaxed atmosphere. Twenty miles southwest is Cabo San Lucas. Retaining its original feeling as a quaint fishing village, it is now the home of many activities, restaurants and a very active night life. The new marina has slips for 300 boats. With boutique shops, nightclubs, and open air restaurants, Cabo San Lucas is the bustling part of Los Cabos. The Cabo Corridor, which connects the two towns via a four-lane highway, is where each of the world class golf courses are located. The weather is spectacular! Daytime temperatures range between 80 and 95 F. While golf is the activity of choice, fishing and water sports follow close behind. Excursions through the desert and mountains are also available.
